Cancelling a Sim only contract under 14 days due to coverage issues

We recently got a 5g sim for our 5g router (bought separately) and the EE sim isn't really usable even though it has supposedly great coverage indoors and outdoors in our area. Would I be entitled to a refund for the sim only contract or will I have to use it for 30 days ?

Well, at least you are not tied into a long-term contract. You can give your 30-days notice now.

I think I may as well try and go back into the store as if I give the 30-days notice now I will have to pay for another month making the total £76 for the SIM! Thanks everyone for the help

You pay for only 30 days from when you give notice, some of which you've already paid in advance in your initial month's fees.
