Can't Set Up New Direct Debit - Blocked

First EE didn't collect my direct debit and warned I faced a charge.

I phoned them and the gentleman I spoke to sound very stoned and couldn't care less, was of no help.

I cancelled my DD and paid by card.

Now the site refuses on three different browsers to let me set up a new direct debit.

What is wrong with EE?...I have no complaint with the speed or reliability of service but their web site and customer service is appaling.

@Tiggercoco  Have you tried clearing the browser history and cookies ?    My.BT.com works for me from my phone.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Tried again with an inprivate session and get the same error

"This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue."

Have tried on Edge/Chrome and Opera on two laptops.

Yep BT.com is up but something on the EE website is blocking the ability to set up a DD.

Will phone again tomorrow and hopefully get through to someone more competent.

@Tiggercoco : If you're with EE it's no good trying to set up a DD on BT.

You can change your bank details in your EE a/c under Bills & Payments > Manage Direct Debit.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I guess you don't realise BT and EE are intrinsically linked....I am trying to set up the DD on the EE website but getting a message that mentions BT.

Yes, linked in that they both belong to the BT Group but still separate providers.

Still happening. Bit rubbish to be honest...

I guess most people never had to change direct debit, but if you need to set up a new one it doesn't work

Tried everything - Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Firefox gives a different error:

I wish there was an 'Unhelpful' button. Way to miss the issue people have when trying to set up a Direct Debit on the EE site
