Hello all. I seen a thread on here last year from someone asking about upgrading to miss the increase and advised that any upgrades after March 1st 2022 would not be subject to an increase until March 2023.

I’ve seen the same asked this year and someone answer that you should upgrade after April 1st to avoid an upgrade being subject to the increase.
Does anyone know which it is? Would an upgrade on March 2nd 2023 get an increase on March 31st 2023 or would it’s first increase be March 2024?
Thanks in advance.

The date you upgrade is irrelevant to this. You may well upgrade in the middle of a billing month but when you upgrade you do not change your existing billing date. You will miss this annual increase if your 1st billing date after you upgrade is on or after 31 March.

I've just spoken to EE Customer Service and they have told me if I upgrade today that I will be impacted by the CPI increase?

As far as I'm aware you need to upgrade in March. I've taken a new 24mth Contract on my EE broadband account, effective from 2nd March & was delighted to hear that as this was before the price rise date ( 31st March) there would be no increase for 2023.
Hope this helps
