My direct debit failed and now EE is saying I owe them £405, on Monday it was only £189! I don’t know what to do! I am abroad and can’t get into a shop! I am worried they will just keep jacking up the debt and I can’t afford it

I can absolutely understand your bill if your bills are higher than expected, and I'm keen to help you understand what is going on.

if your Direct Debit fails we will then try and take your payment again within 7 days. If this fails again then we may apply a missed Direct Debit fee to your account, but this will only show on your next bill. Are you able to log into your online account or EE app, so you can check what is showing on your bills?
