Was told my bill would be £18 every month,  don't understand why I'm paying £22 April,  £20 may?

It's probably the Annual price changes from April onwards which you accepted as part of your contract.

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, there's a good chance that this has been the annual price increase that takes effect from your April bill. 

The first month will always be a bit higher due to the reasons outlined in this video, but this should return to the base increased price provided you have no out of allowance charges.

It's definitely worth giving our team a call if you're unsure though, as that way they can give you a full breakdown of any charges.
