Bill higher after upgrade

So I have recently upgraded as my contract was coming to an in March. My new contract is around £74 a month. I've checked through the app and says my next bill will be higher than usual, which will be around £134. Does this sound correct? As I take it, it's a month in advance and a lil more because of the date of the upgrade?

@Dunks91   It’ll also have the cost from when you got the device added to the bill if this tariff is more costly than the old one.  You need to pay the difference to your billing date and the month ahead.    It’s also an estimate wait until you are billed.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
