I am extremely dissatisfied with EE Limited's service. I signed a contract with them for a monthly fee of £14, only to have the price increased twice till now. First the price went up to £15.30, and now, it has increased yet again to a staggering £17.50. This is unacceptable and completely unfair to customers like myself who entered into the contract in good faith. EE Limited's deceptive pricing practices have left me feeling cheated and misled. I strongly advise anyone considering EE Limited to look elsewhere for their service provider. EE Limited does not value their customers and will stop at nothing to increase their profits at your expense

I can completely relate to your frustration and being cheated by EE.
My two contract have increases by almost £14 pm. I contacted them on the 2nd of March and they literally said there isn't anything they could do even though I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. I was advised they could give me a dead-lock letter to take to the ombudsman to follow up my complaint if I was dissatisfied with the price increase. I waited 30 days and still had not received the dead-lock letter as promised. So when I called them again I was passed to different advisors and got told there isn't anything they could do other than to advise me to wait for the dead-lock letter or I'll get a call back from the executive team. Still no letter or phone call since I raises my complaint.

@sai123 Your contract wasn’t a fixed term contract and in the T&Cs of that contract it’s states a yearly price increase of CPI+3.9%. You even have to agree to the T&Cs before you can take out that contract.

I will be going with SMARTY after my contracts end. Coverage is not as good, but it’s better than being shafted every April!

@Profile closed How are you shafted when you know that it’s in the T&Cs and you agreed to this when you agreed to the contract you even have to accept the T&Cs before you can get a contract.
EE don’t set the CPI each year.

I’m not ignorant to the fact it’s in the contract. If EE’s pricing was competitive in this first place, maybe I could swallow it. The decision to sell contracts capped at 100Mbps speeds also factors into my decision. Why should I pay more to get the same speed I was getting for less before? 1 month rolling contract with a smaller provider is the way to go nowadays.

I have almost 6 friends got the same experience with EE and we all decided as in group to turn down this network as in whole for next upgrade
there are plenty other network providers who are much more transparent ( sky) so lets leave this crap provider for good coz if they do not value us then we should not give them business
