Benefit of changing from BT broadband to EE broadband

I am a BT broadband user with Digital Voice and Full Fibre  Broadband. My mobile contract is with EE. BT appears to be urging me to move to EE broadband. Why?

EE is becoming the primary consumer brand for broadband and merging the BT &EE service.  That is why.
