Bank card has expired before final bill

NT24
Explorer

my bank card expired after I got my final statement but before the direct debit will be collected. EE will not let me change my bank details before the direct debit is collected so I tired the ‘make a payment’ option but the amount owed is listed as £0. What am I supposed to do to help ensure the bill is paid and that I am not charged twice.
Note I am no longer in the UK so unable to call or visit an EE store

Thanks in advance

Your DD is not taken from your bank card but direct from your bank a/c. It doesn't matter if the card expires; the bank a/c still carries on.

Thanks, I was worried as my Spotify etc required me to set up a new bank card to collect their payments. Hopefully this direct debit is set up with sort code. Appreciate the support
