Are Smart Benefits and add-ons included in contract terms?

Hi folks,

As stated in the topic title - are Smart Benefits and add-ons included in the contract terms, i.e. safeguarded for the duration of (at least) your minimum contract period?

Specifically my question is around the roam abroad add-on - I am planning to use my smart benefit otherwise for the most part, but I do want the option to enable roam abroad specifically when traveling, most likely as an add-on. Is it guaranteed to be available for the duration of my contract, as an add-on and/or as an option to switch for my smart benefit at any time?

Smart Benefits are not part of your core contract. We may at any time change the range of Smart Benefits available, the content of Smart Benefits or the minimum length of time each must be active for.

Thanks @James_B - clearly not what I wanted to hear! I have to say this makes choosing EE based on those Smart Benefits quite a bit harder. But appreciate the clarification very much nonetheless.
