Hello. I have a question: is it possible to buy a subscription to the Sony app store by providing only a phone number without having a SIM card? If you take a duplicate SIM card, is the first one blocked? Please let me know because I received a bill for £257 for purchasing a subscription on the Sony app store. Is it possible that someone could have done it, some fraudster, giving only the number A phone without a SIM card ?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@Miron1 you can only have your phone number on one SIM card at a time. To register a number for this sort of service a confirmation text has to be sent to that number.
I recommend you contact Sony about this ASAP and EE customer services.

If there is a limit of 40 pounds, how come my account and receipt show the amount of 257 pounds for purchases on Sony? Please explain to me how.
