Anytime upgrade

My partner and I upgraded and both went on the same plan full works with anytime upgrade when ever I look on my account it says I can upgrade anytime but on my partners it's saying he can only upgrade at the end of the contract. We went for that plan as both wanted the option for early upgrade but now he doesn't have that. Is there any reason for this even though there the exact same plan phone everything.

Are the contract dates the same for both lines? When did you upgrade?

They were both set up at the same time but then my partners wasn't right so they had to change it so then it was sorted and changed I think his is in may and mine was april or march

You are not due an upgrade until 20/09/2024. From that date you can pay a fee to upgrade early. Check out your offers at ee.co.uk/customershop or call us on 150
That is the reply he recieved so looks like he does have it. Just doesnt show on the ee app for him am I right with that?
