Hello,
My daughter will have her first phone soon as she starts secondary school. We have an old phone she will have (iphone) and she has a telephone number from another sim (giff gaff) but I'd like to ideally have her on an EE plan/family account. What is our best option? She will use wifi the majority of the time, then when she is on the school bus or out and about she might need to make a call or send text/whatsapp, but quite rarely. Looking for the best value options, is pay monthly plan better or PAYG?
We will be paying initially.
Many thanks for your advice - also, can we keep her existing telephone number?

Hi @SJHMummy
Welcome to the community.
If you want your daughter to be on a family account, where you can share data and be billed together, I'd recommend a SIM only contract. At the moment, they start at £15 per month.
Alternatively, you could get her a pay as you go SIM card.
If you request a PAC code from her previous provider, you can then give that to us to transfer her number over and stop the plan with them.

Hope this helps.
