Hi all,
So me and my wife both have a number on the same account we also have EE broadband and have been customers since I think 2006.
As I understand it you can only have 1 discount on one account at a time? And at the moment we use the multi products discount to bring my SIM only deal to £13.
However my wife works for the NHS and has a blue light card she currently pays £80. Is there a way of splitting the accounts so I keep the broadband and SIM only with the multi product discount, and she can also get the discount on her account via her blue light card?
Just to add we didn't ever ask for the account to be joined we took out separate contracts many years ago and have upgraded ever since. at some point EE have bundled them together.
Many thanks.

Hi @Nadakuss,
I would say its best to leave them on the same account and when your wife's contract runs out you will be able to move her to a Multi Product Benefit tariff as well which is much better than the Blue Light Discount that is available.
There has never been a rule of only one discount per account, arguably the larger accounts get better discounts than individuals. Potentially the confusion comes from the main line not getting multi-line discounts for additional products historically, but MPB can be for all numbers on the same account.
She could move to the same £13 tariff, the £10 with lower speeds (10Mbps), the £16 tariff with included EU Roaming and Free Smart Watch Data or the £22 or £28 SIMs which have swappable benefits like Netflix and EU Roaming or Further Roaming (EU, USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand etc.)
Also if you are eligible for Flex Pay (Device Finance) then you can use the £16 Plan and upwards as your airtime when taking a phone plan. £16 for UNL Airtime and EU Roaming is a cracker of a deal.
