my two wifi extenders appear to be connected - fixed aqua light - they were configured with ethernet connection. A network scan doesn't show them and they don't appear on the web page of the router. The app doesn't work I can't connect it to the network as I've changed the network name. It will only connect by scanning the default card on the router. Any tips on how to connect these two bits of kit or how to get the app to work would be gratefully received

The app should still work even if the network name has been changed. From memory, there's an option to manually connect that pushes you to your phone settings. If you back out from there and tap to proceed a few more times then I think you can get past the QR code scan.
Regarding extender visibility, is there any other non-default config on the hub e.g. have you changed any of the IP/DHCP settings for example?

@Protennoia If you also have a look on the advanced section of the web interface, wireless connections and extenders, you may be able to see more information at that point also, mesh names are the same as the router so it is difficult to determine what is going on with attached devices etc, wi-fi analyzer may help you determine what is were as some use the mac address of the device when attached.

Thank you both for taking time to look at this. I'm now going through a process of disconnecting all devices and reconnecting one at a time to build a grid as some devices don't show a name some use ip address and some use mac address. I've also had a breakthrough with the app by going again through the settings option, this time it worked. I did not change any of the DHCP settings but I think I will make some of these static on the internal network. Thanks again for your time.

@Protennoia Very wise decision static works just fine, that is how i have the network setup so should not cause you any issues. It's a slow process and the router display or the app help but sometimes just throw you off course, if you get some devices that don't play ball and you know they are connected then do not worry, they will be fine....
