The BT router worked so nicely and now forced to deal with the issues with the EE stuff. I have a Traeger grill/smoker which is controlled by an iPhone app. To do this, you need to pair the smoker with the app on your phone via the router WiFi. I had no trouble doing this with the BT hardware, but I've spent 4+ hours trouble shooting with the help of the Traeger tech support including manual reconfiguration of the EE router. The Traeger "sees" the network but will not verify and connect to it. I've tried turning off all the security I can find on the EE router and still cannot connect. I have to believe there are other Traeger owners who have been forced to switch to the EE hardware. If you are out there, please share your experience.

@pthomasoms : Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label or post a pix)?
Try on the Advanced > Wireless Settings page to temporarily disable the 5 GHz WiFi band & move off the Smart channel while connecting problematic 2.4 GHz devices.

SmartHub SH32B: Not sure of the plan as my wife did the signup but it's
fiberoptic and includes digital phone capability. Have two extenders. So
far have done the following:
* Disabled 5GHz
* Setup guest network to use only for the Traeger grill
* Disabled firewall
* Disabled WPA security
* Tested signal strength with app suggested by Traeger
* Moved Extender to within 6 feet of the grill
Wondering if there is some other security which I've missed which is
preventing the connection. I had NO problems connecting to the network with
the previous BT hardware. I have the exact same grill smoker at my USA home
and it has connected without problem to a Google mesh network. I'm not too
pleased with the EE offering thus far.
With Warm Regards,

@pthomasoms The moved extender? DO NOT rely on the extender getting out there, pretty sure the Guest network does NOT even work through the extender, that may help so best to keep on the main network.

@pthomasoms If you still have the BT Router stick it back on, works fine on the EE Service.
