@Fire4 : What exactly are you connecting what to what?

The EE WiFi7 product is a WiFi7 router + some optional WiFi7 extenders.

  • You wouldn't be connecting a WiFi7 router to a BT HH6; it just wouldn't work.
  • If you're trying to connect WiFi7 extender(s) to a BT HH6; they are just not compatible.

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed?

Where does "hub 6" come into it?

At what speed?

Are you on Full Fibre (FTTP)? Is there an Openreach box, an ONT, fixed to an inside wall opposite a box outside?

We need more details of your setup & what you have there.

Did you get the EE Smart Hub Pro or the EE Smart WiFi Pro or both?

The Smart Hub Pro is the WiFi 7 Hub that would replace your current Hub. The Smart WiFi Pro is a WiFi 7 extender designed to work alongside the Smart Hub Pro. This equipment is designed to only work with Full Fibre and is not offered to customers on FTTC connections as it does not have the correct inputs.

Buying this equipment from a third party is not really advised as it is technically the property of EE and not available for general sale and only offered on a loan basis for the length of the contract. If you let us know which equipment you have we can try help you to get it working if it is compatible with your current setup.

Also what is the "Hub 6" that you mention? Is it the EE Smart Hub Plus or the BT Smart Hub 2?
