I need to improve the wifi in one part of my house and I refuse to add a further £10/month to my broadband bill for an EE range extender, so what are the options? (Why won't EE just sell me one!)
Are there any recommendations for extenders I can buy?

Hi @Speedbird20
Wireless access points, powerline adaptors all can be purchased from amazon.
Have you checked your wifi channels. There are are some good apps for this to check conflicts and signal quality.
Thanks

The Smart WiFI + is not £10 pm any longer if it's not included in your BB plan. You can now buy 1 to 3 Smart WiFi+ for £100 outright. Some BB plans, Full Works & Busiest Home, include it.

The guy I spoke to this morning told me it was £10/m as I'd have to upgrade to the Full Works Package.
Any idea how to order directly? The link above talks about their £100 money back guarantee.

@Speedbird20 When you know what/which is required to be done post back, had a quick look but could not see anyway to direct purchase a Smart Wi-Fi device outright. Know it does not directly answer your question.

£10 pm may very well be the differential in upgrading to Full Works but that's not just buying Smart WiFi + on a monthly basis. There's a whole lot of other extras.
Why not phone CS & try to order it, referring to the page I posted?
