I have Smart Hub Plus and smart wifi plus. My Ring Doorbell will not work on this as it requires to be on a network that only has 2.4 gig wifi. At present I have put in a wireless access point to provide this. But that means an extra bit of equipment which I would like to be able to remove. The new Smart Hub Pro does have multi SSID capability with "compatible wifi" which is what I need. According to EE's own comparison chart of the Plus and Pro hubs, there is a version of the plus hub that includes this capability. EE support seems totally unaware of this. Please can anyone tell me which version of the Plus hub this is.

There was an early version of the SH+, model SH30A, that had Compatible WiFi but I've only ever seen 1 mention of it here.

Thank you for that information. Strange that they seem to have removed that facility from later Smart Hub Plus devices, and put it back in the Smart Hub Pro. I suppose I could see if they will let me have an SH30A to try. But I guess it might reduce performance elsewhere. It is probably better to stick with my wireless access point until I think about upgrading to the WiFI 7 Pro version

All that Find out if your Smart Hub supports Compatible WiFi. > SH+ says is that:
Multiple SSIDs Yes with select models/software
Main/Guest/Compatible WiFi
My SH+ (SH31B) doesn't!
Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & hope it soon gets sorted.
