Weird issue smart hub pro

I just got the smart hub pro recently and all is good. I have a strange issue that reduces Wi-Fi speeds over 5ghz.
When watching SkyQ box (wired connection, in an adjacent room) the speeds reduce to approx 300 Mbps over Wi-Fi. When the box is switched off speeds improve to approx 700 Mbps. The 5ghz channel is set on the router at 36 as is the SkyQ box.
I have tried disabling Wi-Fi completely on the SkyQ box but still the same strange behaviour.
i cannot change the 5ghz channel on the smart hub pro and rescan doesn’t seem to do anything.
Any ideas what would cause this weird behaviour? How to change the 5ghz channel on the hub?

@Kielty1 Do you also have any mini sky boxes along with the Q, would also look at the Q is setup correctly to be on wired network. Try leaving both the Q and the EE router off for 5 mins, EE on again see what channel it selects, then rescan to see if it pushes it up higher,

Thanks @Jim11 - managed to get the rescan to change to channel 100 and all is good. I wish the hub would allow you to select a manual 5Ghz channel .. maybe in a future firmware update..

@JimM11 agreed! despite gremlins with the firmware, the smart hub pro has fixed my digital voice issues..😀

@Kielty1 Did not even know that you were having DV issues but good that it has at least one off your problems is knocked off.👍
Edit: thought i recognised the name, and had a look back via the digital voice, Digital Home Phone section.👌
