Using custom DNS HUB PRO WiFi speed test drop FTTP

Hey Everyone HNY,

When using custom dns for example 1.1.1.3 cloudfare family insted of EE Parental control default DNS.
When i run a speed test my spped is around 600/700 but when i revert back to default dns im getting 900?

My ping is stil the same but why would this be?
Chat GPT said it is normal to expect this happening on a FTTP using custom DNS as Hub 7 struggles is this true?

The speed test on app shows full speed to the EE router but the WiFi speed drops on my device when using custom DNS but is better on default

@FAM0422UK  I have been using Quad9 for a month or so now. I regularly check speed and get around 950 on average. So I would say using different DNS doesn't appear to make much of a difference.
