Upgraded fom Smart Plus router with no add ons to Smart Hub Pro with Smart WiFi Pro.
Firstly, it took a LONG TIME to pair. I had given up for the evening but after a couple of hours saw it had paired. Weirdly it looked like it paired with my phone (was expecting just router ?!)
Anyway it seemed to work suddenly - with some weirdness:
1. The Smart Wifi Pro is listed variously as a Smart Wifi Plus 0139 or a Smart WiFi Pro in different screens if same EE app ! I wondered if I was short changed?
2. The Internet range is extremely good now but the speed consistency is not quite there. On some devices it actually looks a bit slower - but okay speeds for me I guess. Worst is Hisense TV which did not seem to connect via the WiFi extender at first and "chose" a weaker router signal. After some time it did connect 5Ghz to WiFi Pro (Plus?!) - getting about 40Mbps but was getting 140Mb when TV was just 2 meters further away.
Any ideas please ?
