Termination of contract

Antspence

Hi,

I rang up last week to terminate my contract as I have now changed company. The customer service told me that the termination was already being processed by the new company I had moved to as they were taking over the line. Today I received an email with another EE bill for my broadband which has been terminated. Why am I still having to pay for the service after termination? And how do I get my money back?

Thank you

@Antspence   I presume the bill is your normal monthly bill, and the same date as previous ones. Your final bill should come out in the next day or two, and will include any refunds due to you.

Hopefully you have not yet cancelled your DD, as that will only complicate your refund.

Had you seen out your min. term? If so, you'll get a refund in your next bill.
