Help!!!!
I’ve tried so many different ways to connect my T-Link R 300 extender to EE Bright box 2 router to no avail. I’ve even enabled WPS via online portal, reset both devices and followed all instruction etc but running out of patience. It’s taken up around 6 hours of my time and losing the will to find any positivity!
can anybody provide some useful information please?
thanks in advance.

@Renewhq2024 : I know the BrightBox 2 well but what is the "online portal"? I'm not aware of that unless you mean the router's GUI.
To connect them you should be pressing the WPS button on top of router followed by the WPS button on the TP-Link within 2 mins.

@Renewhq2024 Some more info might help.
Which router do you have?
Is it an R300 or RE300?
I can find info on the RE300 but no the other. https://www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/re300_v1/chapter-2-set-up-internet-connection#ug-sub-title-2
Are you using the APP or a browser to set it up?
How far through and what is going wrong?

I meant to say I have enabled WPS via online router setting, I refer to as portal. Possible not the correct term I guess.
with that said, I have tried to sync router and To-Link following instructions ructions and video but the light on the plug keeps flashing as never goes solid. What would be your recommendation here?
cheers.

Hi,
it’s the RE300.
I’ve tried setting it up via video and instructions but the router and TP plug light keeps flashing on the Wi-Fi and never goes solid on. They just don’t want to sync for some reason. I’ve tried resetting both and enabling WPS on bright box 2 router settings.
Do you have any recommendations for pairing options?
thanks

@Renewhq2024 I recommend you follow the instructions in the link in my previous post and using a browser on a laptop or pc.
Decide which option for ssid you want to follow and provide more details if it does not work. Make sure you are reasonably close to the router and RE300 when you do the setup.
HTH.
