Strange messages from EE about broadband

Naidren

Hi everyone, I have been receiving messages from EE about update of contact number and moving broadband to them. I'm not EE customer and nobody in my household. I've also received order number for this service with information that someone will come to set up broadband and TV. Tried to contact them but there is no option to go through automatic verification as I don't know name of person who is named on this account and which added my phone number to contact.

@Naidren Then check with your own ISP, they will be able to inform you if someone has requested the transfer off the Broadband connection, usually down to online information incorrect but it is a gaining provider service so you may not be able to stop it from happing. Best be prepaired! Try the free phone number 0800 079 8586 see if that gets you anywhere at all.

Thanks for reply. I will check with them then.

Someone has mistakenly given your phone no. to EE when they are applying for BB from EE. Let's hope they haven't also mistakenly given your addy to EE as the location for their BB. Check with your existing ISP whether there is an order in for your line.

Try calling EE CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 1) in my sig.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband
