Smart TV and WiFi problems

I recently joined EE broadband full fibre from Sky. I have 2 smart TVs . Hubby watches TV in the living room I go to watch the TV in another room, there is often a problem with the picture either in the living room or the other room, this results in having to reboot either TVs or the broadband router or both or all of them , this is happening more and more often and later in the evening, this did not happen with Sky. We live in a really tiny bungalow so neither TV is far from the Router. Please advise.

So you have a Sky TV box connected to your EE BB & servicing that particular TV?

Yes that’s right , the main tv in the living room. The smaller Samsung is a smart WiFi only, this is the one I’m having most problems with it’s only about 14 to 14 feet away from the router.

Is the smaller Samsung an older TV? Sometimes older or weaker devices may not be compatible with the default WiFi settings of EE Smart Hubs. Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings > Config > Compatible WiFi (it defaults to 2.4 GHz only & WPA2) & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.

@Heslopali If it's that close run an Ethernet cable between the TV and the EE Hub!
