Slow Fibre 900 Speed

So I just upgraded to Fibre 900 today which has recently gone live in my area. I am one of the only people who's got it on my street so the load on the pole shouldn't be an issue. I have ran tests and I am struggling to hit anything north of 500-600mb on my downloads. My upload speed is around 100-110 which is what I'd expect but the downloads seem capped at 600 or lower. Can someone from EE please check my profile is correct.

I have tried both the EE router and using my 3rd party ASUS 5300 which is more than capable of handling 900mb yet on both I struggle to get anything over 5-600mb. Does anybody know how long it takes for full fibre to hit the speeds we are paying for? My assumption was always that if its true fibre optic  FTTP it should be fairly instantaneous?

Yes, it should be straightaway.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

I don’t have a Landline, the speeds were vdsl on the bt checker. Hoping someone from EE can make sure I’m on the right profile it’s clearly being capped at the moment

@T94AFC  No one on here has access to your account, or your profile, so you would need to call the Broadband Care Team for that info.

That said, you are not the first one to report similar issues on here, but not sure we ever got a definitive solution. Some mentioned a router update, but we never got to know what was really done.

I would give the care team a call in the morning to see if there is anything they can do.
