Sky internet really bad tod can use ee box

My partner has sky Internet and would like ee as he has seen how mine works well but no fiber in his area and says when I look up his address that non is coming to his area. He has been told he can use an ee box with a sim card can someone clarify please, also how it would work and would he need to keep the sky box ect Thank you

@Wantmebed looking at the options in that area, it seems that mobile signal from all suppliers is not great, EE does seem a little better than the others, but will not compare with what you have, they would need to try it to see.
It would appear that VM may be available, so it may also be worth looking at that.
