Samsung TV isn't detecting the wifi

Hi folks, I've recently moved from BT broadband to EE. My daughters Samsung TV isn't detecting the wifi. I've moved the extender/booster through to her bedroom but its not picking up a signal. I've logged into my router and changed the signal to 2.4Ghz and still nothing. When i did that my extender/booster kept flashing, it obviously didn't like me changing the router to 2.4Ghz. Any ideas how to get the TV to recognise the new signal? The TV is only 2 yrs old. My son has a better Samsung model and that picked up the signal immediately.  Thanks!

Hi @Vinnie_The_Poo

Unless the TV is a newish WiFi 6 TV then the WiFi is terrible on Samsung TVs.

Try a soft reset by holding down the power button on the remote until the TV restarts. Try resetting the network settings on the TV as well.

Thanks
