Recurring Broadband Issues - Chesterfield / Holymoorside area

Hi there,

Our broadband has been out since yesterday (Friday 20/03 - 5pm).

This is not an isolated issue as many other people in Holymoorside/Chesterfield are also being affected.

We've been told by EE this is an issue with the network exchange, and that the expected ETA for fixing is on the 25/03 (!!!??).

2 things here:

- Similar issues seem to be happening repeatedly. This has already happened last year, around the same time of the week. From the outside it does look like some repairs are being done in the weekend. As the last issue happened in similar timings, which I don't think is a coincidence. If that's the case, it's appalling service not to be given notice.

- We have no way of getting live updates on when the issue will be resolved apart from calling EE. An online page where we could monitor progress would be much appreciated.

Contacted EE, tried to contact open reach, this is a repeated issue and nobody seems to be taking accountability.

Can  we please know at least how to get live updates on these issues. Multiple homes with working people needing wifi to make a living.

Thanks,

Oli

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area. You may also Report a Problem there.
