Re: Charged twice for broadband since 2021

Yes I have had something very similar.

my EE broadband was very slow so I was advised to replace it with a 5GEE home hub, which I did,

the 5G Home Hub was terrible, so i called back to say the bandwidth was aweful and i would like to swap back to my standard Broadband and wait for fibre to come to my area.

My original line was reinstated but the 5GEE was never disconnected, EE was the provider for both lines and charged me for 2-3 years for both lines.

an investigation was carried out and I heard nothing back. I’m currently trying to get this resolved myself.

@Joshua14 : Not similar at all! OP was being charged for 2 fixed Home BB from diff ISPs.

Mobile BB & fixed Home BB are 2 entirely separate products. 1 doesn't replace or turn into the other w/out dealing with them separately. Unless you explicitly cancelled your mobile BB contract it will continue & be charged for.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.
