Hi all,
I had port forwarding working fine yesterday, but overnight I think my Smarthub Pro 7 had a firmware update to
r3.8.26-R-1595999-PROD-1
and I can no longer seem to get this working even after removing the rule and re-adding. I have restarted the router to no avail.
Anyone else having a similar issue? It's only day 2 of me having this hub/router and I've just returned my previous smarthub.
Many thanks
p.s. Something that did cross my mind, netgear recommend a factory reset after upgrading firmware, and I had issues with one of their routers when I didn't do this step, but after it was rock solid; so is the lack of a factory reset potentially an issue?

Do you mean if I set the rules in the browser on a Linux machine they will work? I am on my second router, and this one none of my rules work now.

@Gtlscot : You may set the rules via any browser you like. Just Login to your EE Smart Hub/Router at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router.

@Gtlscot Did some off them work before you changed and EE sent you a replacement?

It's worth checking any firewall setup you have on that linux machine if that's your target as well (given my issue was a windows firewall rule that I needed to be add).
I run a dual boot machine and the firewall setup on the linux instance was opened up for port 443 in the public zone.
The browser you use to access the router doesn't really matter as it's just using a web interface.
