Parental Controls Smart Hub 2

Just joined from VM and have also taken out a landline.

I have the Hub in Router Mode with WiFi off as I have a mesh Linksys system connecting the WiFi throughout the home. I have had no issues with the speed and connection but I can’t seem to access the ability to set parental controls or use my own dns like family friendly.

i have try through the hub directly via IP address and the EE app but it says safe search is unavailable but nothing else in regards to parental controls.

i have connected through EE WiFI also but nothing changes so have switch this back to off.

What Hub are you using? Seems odd you would be sent a Smart Hub 2 if you've just joined. What model name/number is on the hub label? Should be one of these.

For Parental Controls, I believe it all needs to be managed via the app. Safesearch is just one element of Parental Controls. Does any of the info here help?

For using your own DNS, this is possible with the Smart Hub Plus but not the Smart Hub (2023) or Smart Hub Pro (although suspect it will come to the latter at some point).

How do I access the DNS?

You cannot set the DNS on the SH+.
