Parental Controls - AI Category (Broadband)

On the EE application you can have parental controls and there are some predefined categories for drugs, nudity, social media etc. I think it would be a beneficial idea to add an AI category which will block majority of known AI sites as I don't think kids should be allowed access to this type of content.

While yes you can block the sites individually, I think for less informed parents this might be a good addition to ensure they're not abusing these tools for their education and not being used in a malicious manor, as I've heard cases of it being used to generate images which have been used in bullying.

Hello @F1R3FLYY ,

Welcome to the community,

It may be a good idea but if you set the the parental control as strict, I would have thought that would stop anything like that from happening, although now they are implementing age restriction for under 16 years, which hopefully should solve the problem, not allowing social media etc for under 16s. Not sure whether that will also apply to broadband or just mobile, though.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 7953 966 or +44 330 123 1105.
