Packet Delay on multiple hops to game servers.

Hello there, New EE customer here!

While i'm very happy with the Speeds, Loaded latency and Unloaded latency i've been suffering with a lot of Packet Delay to multiple game servers. I'm no stranger to seeing this issue being a 25+ years veteran of competitive online FPS games, but sadly this issue is making certain games unplayable. Being 0.5 - 1 second behind real-time is just no good.
I'm hoping there is a solution at hand! Usually from my experience the "hops" causing the problem cannot handle the amount of data going through them, hence it "chokes" causing the delay.
Possible re-routing could be a solution?

Thanks for reading!
MJ.

Updating this thread with more data gathered. It seems it's always the same few culprits causing the trouble, (213.121.98.145) - (212.187.166.149 lag-107.ear3.London2.Level3.net) and (4.69.143.194 ae2.3204.ear2.London2.level3.net).

Hopefully this can be investigated further and not become lost in the void.

Much appreciated, MJ.

Oh and PS :

Plan name

Fibre Plus Broadband with landline

Router : smart-hub-HBB-device-640X640-3.jpg

Can anyone help with my issue, or is the void looming near by?

MJ.
