This afternoon I noticed some of the silicone or glue around the openreach modem’s external cap/cover has come loose, leaving a gap between the cap and the wall.
does anyone know how go about getting this sorted? It seems I have to go through EE rather than Openreach, but does anyone know which number to call / lines to go through to talk to the right department?

You need to report it to your supplier EE. You have no contract nor contact with OR. Try calling EE CS on the Freephone no.(Opt 1) in my sig.
