I have recently transitioned from BT to EE broadband including a digital landline using a BT phone adapter and the original handset(s) (Panasonic). I have the EE hub and internet access is fine. The hub manager shows the adapter is registered and “in reach”.
Whilst I can make and receive calls, I cannot hear anything and neither can the calling or called person.
Any ideas?

I resorted to resetting the adaptor's connectivity and after several failed frustrating attempts, regained connectivity and sound.

Mine the same! So annoying although I initially thought it was something to do with my old dect phones using the WiFi connector. So, I bought 5 new BT HD Voice phones and registered them directly. I was miffed that the Alexa feature does not work on ee but more so because the issue still occurs!!! Resetting the hub does work but you can't reset the hub prior to making each call! I've unregistered and re registered the phones, reset the phones back to factory as well as the hub but nothing resolves this faulty f'ing hub! I'll be cancelling this soon, putting my old IP Siemens dect phones back on and then adding a local number to by business VoIP service for home use. Never had an issue like this before and looking through this 'community' it's a common fault that has been going on for some time.
