Hi

I don't get the option on the account to request a returns bag, probably because we had been with BT for eons.

I rang and they said one would be sent in due course, it wasn't. I don't want get charged down the line. I haven't had any emails etc encouraging return. Also I would want to send them for recycling in any case. Do I just have to keep ringing???🙃

thanks all, i think i will call that number. The links all work but looks like I would have to pay postage. Either that or hold on to it all till I am chased if ever!  and if not then take to my local recycling tip. nowhere on my old BT or my new EE account does it say anything about recycling/ returning. It would be so helpful if they stated return not required or optional if that is the case.

Then woorries like me would know where they stand.

Cheers

@Keepongoing37 In the link for the BT equipment there was 5 items with potential varying charges, of those did you have any that matched the description to what you have? If not then when you started had it for eons, then BT and EE have a zero value against said item, they don't want to pay the postage, you don't want to pay the postage, so the recycle centre is the next option, does involve you taking it there though, it also states as below. And if they had requested return it's back by 60 day's and up to 2 year's.

The charges below are not applied to any BT equipment supplied before 13th December 2019.

Finally, it's good to have an old router available, if for any reason that you think that your current one has failed, you can put the old BT back on and see if you can get BB internet if that is possibly the reason that it was not swapped out in the first place.
