New Smart Wifi Pro with Wifi 7

Hi

I currently have a 24 month broadband package with EE, which I believe started in March time of this year.

Now I've seen the new Smart Wifi Pro 7, I was wondering if I'm able to receive the new router as part of my package, or is it only available to existing customers?

I have full fibre package, so it should be eligible with my package.

I understand it is available free to FF 1.6 Gig users or £10 pm for others.

@Nitrosnail EE advertise it as an addon to select Full Fibre packages, so if you have one off those you should be eligible to get it as an addon as @XRaySpeX posted above, you will more than likely have to re contract for the whole 24months also to get it, EE have to get the payback for the equipment so that is what it takes. May also be some slight delay's if not available in stock but you won't know until you try.

@Nitrosnail

I added it to my plan recently. Yes you will need to re contract. And if you already have smart WiFi plus they’ll let you remove that and add the new add-on.

@Nitrosnail  given your last post where you were not getting the speeds you are paying for, then a WiFi 7 router is not going to help and only add to your issues.

The older routers are capable to delivery 500Mbps, the WiFi6 Smart Hub plus well over double that. The key is only if you have the equipment capable to handling those speeds.

Thanks.

May seem like a stupid question, but how do you add it to your package?

When I try and manage my broadband it says can't do that

If I go to shop it says technical error?
