New EE Broad Band Contract

HughReid1

I am a new  customer to EE, as of 25th April 2024, the selling point for me was, there would be no need for me to personally contact My previous Provider (Virgin.com) to cancell the  contract.  EE would complete all that.  A bit of a shock to see a Virgin media bill £76. for the Month of May 2024. in my inbox. Now realise I've no quick access point to inform EE team  and ask what is happening!  Am I to look forward to bill from EE and Bill from Virgin?

@HughReid1   Vigin media use different cables and wiring to EE which run over the Openreach network, therefore it will be up to you to cancel your VM service.

You would normally get your first bill a month after your service goes live, although you may also have paid something on sign up - which will cover install and your first month service.
