Netgear RS300 Keeps Drooping connection have to reboot?

I used my Netgear router on Virgin and BT before, and now I’m using the RS300 with firmware version V1.0.6.16. However, on EE I’m getting a lot of dropouts, and I have to reboot the router to reconnect.

I’m currently using the old  bthomehub@btbroadband.com username and BT password. I’m wondering if that could be causing the issue.

It’s only a new line that was activated two weeks ago, and I still have the old Openreach ONT the larger one, about the size of a phone book, which was one of the first models installed in Northern Ireland. They said I didn't need to upgrade the ont as not on the 1.6 gb package only the gig.

To note I am directly pluged into the ont not using ee rotuer as modem mode or anything

@novagaming The ONT would not require to be replaced so that will be correct, and your credentials for the User/Password are correct to get through and on the EE Network.

What dropouts are you getting on the Netgear?

Just had three the last few days and have had to physically restart it the RS300 is only under 2 year old so wouldnt think it would be over heating issue.

@novagaming What EE Hub do you have so you can test if the connection is good/bad or the hub your netgear is the source off the issue?
