Need help reconnecting to 5/6GHZ

I'm hoping someone can help me, we recently got Fibre Optic broadband but apparently too fast internet can mess with your ring camera. So I saw it recommended to disable 5/6ghz and let the camera connect to 2.4. I did that and re enables 5/6ghz. My Xbox tells me which ghz it's actually connected to and apparently it was still on 2.4, so I went back in and disable 2.4 and 5 to see if it forced connection back to 6. It didn't and despite the fact 2.4 is still disconnected it still shows as 2.4, how do I force it back to the higher ghz?

You don't! I Doubt that it wants to. It wants to stay on 2.4 GHz.

You said that you were recommended to disable 5/6 GHz and let the camera connect to 2.4. Then do so & don't worry that it stays on 2.4 when you reenable 5/6 GHz.

Better still, rather than disabling & reenabling bands, try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
