Same here.  Everything works except this pairing issue. Tbh the whole migration from BT to EE was very niggly and hopefully this is the final bit.

Hi there @SABco5

Thanks for coming here 🙂

Which router are you using?

Do you get an error message in the app when trying to pair?

Leanne.

Hi - Im using the BT router from before my account was transferred.

I dont get any error message - it just sits there with a spinning icon. I
tried the 'Add Manually' option but cant see any way of connecting. It just
says to get the router details and then come back to the app to finish
pairing.

I can connect to broadband so I assume the router is working fine.

Thx.

@SABco5 You can only use the MyBT app with the BT Smarthub2 router if that is what you have, and depending on what BT have done with your account, then what you can do and access on the router.

Hmmm, thanks for the reply but in the app on the page where it says "Are you at home right now", there's a picture of the BT router I have which suggests very much that I should be able to pair with it.

@SABco5 Your device connecting has to be in the same IP range, the system can/will know if range is wrong or you are trying to go through a double nat. Are you trying to connect via the MyBT app to the BT Smarthub2 router?

Hi, Ive no idea what a double nat is or if Im double natting 🙂 . I should think my set up is as simple as it gets, basic home network, one hub/router, a number of wireless devices and a couple of mobiles. Never messed around with ip addresses - I just let the router do its thing. So, nothing fancy. Tbh, I dont know what the app will let me do - its just somethign that should work but doesnt and that bugs me..

Have you tried using your web browser and entering http://192.168.1.254 ? It will take you directly to the Hub Manager's page itself?
