I have seen the new white ee modem on the Tv advert, I have had mine (black) for some time now, does it need updating ?

You can normally buy new mobile broadband routers if you want to upgrade.

@54Waterloo  is this for your landline or mobile service?

If landline the black Smart Hub is used on lines up to 80Mbps, the white smart router for higher speeds.

If it is not broke, then you should be fine with what you have.
