@TimothyM Slightly older router but believe it has a telephone connection...Then phone will plug into the back of the router, you will see the phone socket on it, can take a little time for the phone to register and settle on the digital voice, all of your other socket's or extensions if you use them will become defunct. Any problems head back to the forum, hope your change over goes smooth, and if you do not have many devices to change over onto the new router. There is a quick way to do it, and can help if you need. Welcome to the forum. HTH

@TimothyM If you already have broadband and a master socket/filter older socket, then cable and filter can be connected to the replacement router. It would appear that you have been sent the wrong box. Let me know what you have.

@TimothyM Everything is the same, apart from one does not have the filter and cable, there is nothing different regarding performance, and with you having the old master socket that is your slowest point anyway, newer master sockets do help to increase speed of broadband signal cable and filter should work fine. Also copying you the help link. Are you keeping landline as another question for you? Also let us know what you have received router wise, should be the new EE Superhub+. Link is below for you.
