Migration from Plusnet to EE a disaster

Magpie26

Warning !!!!!

Avoid migration to EE from Plusnet.

I assumed it would be straightforward process as all owned by BT but has been an unmitigated disaster.

No broadband for 24 hours so far.  Poor customer service with contradictory messages.

4 hours on the phone to EE migration team in Doncaster.  Ruined my day

My complaint was "resolved" yet no resolution.

Still no broadband.

Will continue with Complaints procedure and then escalate to Ofcom. Vulnerable, disabled, elderly customers in particular consent to migration to retain landline and then end up in this limbo without a landline or broadband.

Meanwhile I can't do my job and my kids can't do their homework.

Appalling service.

I will lose my job if it is weeks. I work remotely.

Seems my warning to others was warranties then.

EE does say install could take until midnight on 'go live' day. Is that today?

@Magpie26 Here is the linked post, when sugar happens not much you can do. Midnight tonight, back on to EE 8am onwards tomorrow if you still have the same. Your work status has nothing to do with EE, PN moved you not the other way, take your angst out on PN.

SH31B is the router I have been sent.

Looks like this is a bad option from your other thread.

Still flashing orange.

The heart sinks.

Yes transfer day is today.

I agree, they have 1 hour 48 mins to reprieve themselves somewhat.

But its been a rubbish day and at no point was I told up until midnight.

I have a bad feeling.

Have you received email/text from EE yet that your BB is live? If not, router will continue to flash orange. BB is not yet activated. Bad router or not hasn't yet been exercised anyway.

But EE is responsible for making it work now?

I am no longer a customer of PN.

No text saying it's gone live. But it worked for 30 minutes this morning. Then flashed orange all day.

I appreciate all your responses and help, thank you.
