I recently had EE Full Fibre installed on Friday but I am struggling to get a good WiFi signal upstairs (this has been happening for a long time, even on my old broadband) - I'm currently in the process of trying to get an Ethernet cable run from downstairs to my PC to provide a more reliable gaming experience.
Would a mesh system help, or what equipment would I be looking at to improve the signal upstairs for other devices?
Thanks for any advice.

@RachT123 If you are looking for advice, when trying to game then Ethernet cable is the best way to go. It's not always the easiest of options to get done? What speed is your broadband package?

Agree 100% that Ethernet is the way to go (but my phone, Xbox etc that need WiFi are struggling). I've tried to get quotes for proper AP system but being quoted ridiculous prices (I can't install Ethernet cables etc, myself)
The speed is 500mbps.

Hi @RachT123
Use power line adaptors, preferably one with a plug socket. You can also get one which acts as a wifi access point.
If you want a mesh network then I would recommend EERO, plug one into your router and the rest around your home.
Thanks

@RachT123 As Northerner suggest, powerline with wi-fi will give you Ethernet + Wireless connectivity, i use Tp-Link but do not need speed, as used for ring doorbell and camera on 2.4ghz band, you wont know how good it is until you try it. Something like this will give you an idea, this is the lowest for cost, higher spec's cost more.
