Linking Mobile and broadband

Hi All,

After a nightmare experience moving my broadband from BT to EE I am still unable to link these accounts, any ideas how I do this, I have no broadband account number, even the contract emails doesn't include it, and trying to get a satisfactory response from EE just leave me exasperated

Thanks in advance 👍

A mobile BB router is not fixed Home BB. It does not need an a/c no. to link it to your EE a/c. It contains a SIM which has a mobile no. & counts as a mobile.

In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > Manage numbers > Add another number > Link EE mobile or SIM.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

This isn't the answer, I have 4 sims with EE and moved my broadband from BT to EE I just want them linked as one account, this should be straight forward

What kind of BB? What BB package? You posted this under Mobile BB, meaning it has a SIM & therefore a mobile no.

Hi Dillonm1

You have the same issue as myself I believe. MyEE with your mobile account and now EE broadband (fixed line) that you want to add to MyEE?

If that’s right we’re having the same issue. Raise it with EE but they are aware of the problem but have no fix and no timescale.
A quick search of the forums show this is affecting 1000’s of people, something an EE agent confirmed. The cases have been ongoing for months with no resolution.

Unfortunately I don’t have a solution but hopefully this is a little more helpful. Incidentally, if you have posted this in the wrong place 😱 😂 I’m sure the admins will move it eventually.

Guys.

Sounds the same as me, I had an EE phone contract, BT (BB/TV) swapped me out to EE, and are now saying I need to pay for HD even though the existing contract was what I was told would be cheaper with EE.  And yes I seem to have two separate accounts even though I’d also been promised an amalgamation, a few times!!  As Dillon says, TIA 👍

Like you, I've just transferred my Broadband, TV and 3 family Mobiles from BT to EE, a less than smooth process. After ridiculous growth in prices by BT, I was looking to keep the same services at more competitive prices, no joy! After an hour on the phone I gave up and agreed to move to EE and only managed to save £8/m for the same basic services with a pile of extras I didn't want or need. Then the transfer chaos began starting with EE messing up 1 of the 3 mobile number transfer which the help desk finally sorted. It appears the Mobiles and BB&TV contracts are actually separate and have their own account numbers although I now can't find these anywhere? They also needed separate Direct Debits setting up. As regards visibility and control via the EE App, I can see the BB&TV details & bill but not the Mobiles. I've tried linking on screening but the process fails and suggest I take forms of ID to an EE shop! I'm blind to Mobiles just now but I've given up for now!  It cost a little more but it all worked so well with BT. I regret agreeing to the Salesman's insistence to change to EE, a painful, disjointed, error filled and as yet incomplete transition

Hi @Bu88les

Thanks for coming to the community. I am sorry you are unable to link the mobile account with your EE Broadband.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

Leanne.

Hi Leanne,

Thanks for the suggestion, will try. I have spoken with EE Technical
support who were very helpful and have initiated a merger of accounts
which may take up to a week.
Fingers crossed.
