Landline not receiving calls from any network, except EE.

Hi, my services were activated on the 4th of November after moving over from Sky. Broadband is fine, I can call the landline from my EE mobile but any other networks you get a “sorry this number is not recognised”. I have called 17070 from the landline, it reads back the correct number. I have the correct number on the app. I have unplugged and replugged everything, restarted the broadband etc. nothing is working. I was having a lady from EE calling me every other day to see if anything was working, she ended up having to re-port the number and now everything seems fine on the system. I’ve had an email and text message to say that the landline has been activated with the number that it should be. When I had told her it’s still not working, she checked the call barring which every setting is as it should be. There are no faults with the handset itself. I was supposed to have a callback Tuesday but I’ve had nothing since. I’ve had an engineer out for an unrelated problem and at the same time told me that the landline is all wired properly and there’s nothing further they can suggest except to contact EE and wait. It’s been nearly 3 weeks and I just don’t understand what the problem is. Any advice will really help

@LettuceLeafy Where is the landline currently plugged into?

As a side note, where you also plugged into the back of the sky router when you were on there service, that is the sky equivalent to digital voice? would be the SR or the Sky Max router range.

Hello again from my last thread! My landline is connected to the phone port in the back of the hub, I did have it in the adapter they sent incase I wanted the phone in a different place but either way, it’s still the same. Yes the phone was in the phone port on the Sky hub

@LettuceLeafy Thanks for the reply, you have effectively transferred  from the (sky DV system) to the EE DV system for landline operation, and if you are still having network issue on calls apart from EE is looking ok, then EE CS will have to escalate your issue the the specialist Digital Voice team for someone to take a look see what is going on, i do know that sky service did insist on one month on the phone side but not sure if that would be a specific reason for the operation not to have happened by now, especially that you know you have the correct number allocated. Either call or raise it on the online complaints form is all you can do.
