hello, i was looking at contracts for my address and got suggested with a contract using ee smart hub but i do not have a landline or modem socket to plug the router into. So i was wondering if this router required that connection or can i just give it power and itll provide internet access for my devices.

Thank you.

@Charlie945 Then it needs to plug into either landline or fibre, the address checker below, if you input your address details will tell you what type is available currently. What package did EE offer? If you post back details, hide anything withe regards to showing your address, it is a public forum.

BT Broadband (btwholesale.com)

Depends on what type of BB you're ordering. If it's Full Fibre you'll need fibre cable laying and an ONT modem box fitted to the inside of a wall of your home. Otherwise you'll need a standard BT phone socket fitted.

Do you know the name of the EE BB plan you've ordered?
